Wonderful week in Phoenix
This two bedroom apartment in a private home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The owner/host lives in the main portion of the home, and is willingly and readily available, but without being at all intrusive. There is a garage available to park your car, or you can leave it parked outside if you want. There is remote controlled gate to enter the property, making access easy and convenient. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, and well furnished. The bedroom with the king bed also serves as a living room. A second queen bedroom is large and well appointed. The kitchen/dining area is very large and well equipped. There is large kitchen island, and up to date, quality appliances. A large utility room has full size washer and drier and a large utility sink. The apartment is really more like a 2 bedroom home, as there is much more space than I had expected. Outside, a beautiful patio is a quiet place to relax, have coffee, or even eat outside under a large pergola. There is a grill available, although we did not use it.All of our needs were certainly met, and we found the location to be convenient to all areas of the city. It is about a 20 minute drive to the airport at non-rush hour times. I cannot say enough good about the owner, Lana. She is friendly and welcoming, and a great resource for recommendations on dining, sightseeing, etc. She makes you feel at home. My wife and I were very happy that we stayed here. We highly recommend this property.
