Great place if you're not a sensitive sleeper

This is a fabulous apartment - spacious and appointed with all the amenities. The owners provide a fully stocked kitchen and many other thoughtful details. The bed is super comfortable and the linens so soft. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the decor is modern/boho chic. The unit includes a washer dryer and a dishwasher and the outdoor amenities are resort-level fabulous - wonderful shaded outdoor seating and a lovely hot tub and pool. The host was very responsive to any texts and the location close to downtown Scottsdale was perfect. So far so good! :) The downside of the unit relate to noise and light pollution. The dishwasher is super loud and might keep a sleeper awake. Likewise the walls are paper thin. So if your neighbors have dogs that bark or are watching tv at 2am you get to hear it. The owners provide ear plugs but I find them uncomfortable to wear for eight hours (and they shouldn't be needed for such an otherwise luxurious place.) Personally I think extra soundproofing drywall between units should be installed. It's sorely needed. Other issue for sleepers - the lighting mounted under the overhanging eave on the exterior of the building are illuminated ALL night. This light streams in between the vertical blinds covering the bedroom's sliding door, keeping the room lit. If you don't mind light when you sleep or have a sleep mask then it's no biggie, but it could be a real problem otherwise. Happily for us we aren't super light sleepers. And with the use of a rain sound app I was eventually able to buffer out the sounds of the neighbors. Also I read the reviews of this place before I booked and DID bring a night mask. I want to reiterate again that the owners of these apartments have really tried to make them super nice, with top quality amenities. If you aren't a sensitive sleeper then I would recommend staying here. Despite these issues we ourselves really enjoyed our stay.

Got everything you need

Clean, all amenities included. Supplies, kitchenware and everything was top notch. Excellent communication with host and situated in a nice neighbourhood. We will be back!
