Below is a report I made to Marriot corporate:
I am writing a concern to you in regards to an employee at Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix West/Avondale. This is an African American female who refused to identify herself and noted by employees to be their "boss." She had never been seen wearing a name tag, whereas everybody else has been seen wearing name tags.
She repeatedly harassed me and badgered me through repeated phone calls, while I had already informed her respectfully in person that I booked another night of stay. This is around 1400 12/20/25, and I was on the phone with the police department regarding a serious concern I have towards another individual that may be homicidal or suicidal. I had to unplug the phone as I was repeatedly harrassed and could not focus, being on the phone with a police officer regarding this situation.
I had already conveyed to this individual that I was dealing with a situation involving untreated mental illness and firearms. I conveyed to her kindly and respectfully, and that I already booked another night.
This repeated repeated badgering and harassment IS NOT tolerated by me. She refused to identify herself and ended a conversation with me unilaterally by slamming the door on my face, TWICE, when I was trying to communicate with my grievance. I had to call the Police because she started denying entry to my room and my belongings. And she retaliatorily told the police to ban me from premise because I was “yelling.” No yelling by me
