Welcome to your a spacious one-of-a-kind waterfront home located right on the beautiful Oswego River. Enjoy a private swim-spa/hot tub, expansive outdoor space, and riverfront access with stunning sunsets.

Peaceful yet centrally located, just minutes from Syracuse, Lake Ontario, golf, wineries, and the Finger Lakes region. Perfect for families and friend groups looking to have memorable get-togethers.

The Space:
Located on the Oswego River in the heart of the Village of Phoenix which is located by Lock 1, the first Lock heading toward Lake Ontario through the Erie Canal System.

Build a bonfire, go for a swim in the swim spa - summer or winter, fish, enjoy the garden where we grow bird friendly flowers, enjoy watching and feeding the birds, ducks and squirrels, or watch the bald eagles soar and hunt the river, or do nothing at all.

You will have the best views of the sunset from the deck or sitting by the rivers edge.

Guest Access:
The guests will have access to entire house and outdoor property, except for the garage, basement, attic and garage.

** The upstairs front balcony (door is in the king bedroom). This is currently under renovation. Please do not utilize.

The Neighborhood:
The Historic Village of Phoenix is completely walkable and the heart of the Village is located on the Oswego River which is part of the Erie Canal System. Lock 1 is the first of the locks toward Lake Ontario. Watch boats as they enter and leave the lock to their next destination.

The house is located on the river side of State Street which is only five houses from the Village center.

There is a bakery, diner - Larkins, real estate office - Adolphi, coffee shop, bar-restaurant - Duskees, pizza - Cam’s, laundry, ice cream shop, hair salon, a convenience store-gas station, several churches, Lock 1 and Lock 1 Distillery.

Where we live is becoming an emerging village and during the Summer there are many outdoor events including concerts to enjoy.

Getting Around:
There isn't public transportation to get around. The Village of Phoenix is walkable.

During the NYS fair in August/September there are buses that will take you from the Village to the Fair.

Other Things to Note:
Riverfront Safety:
Please be aware that the backyard extends beyond the final gate and leads directly to the Oswego riverfront. The Shark Shack (5th bedroom) and firepit are located past the fenced portion of the yard. If you're traveling with children or pets, they must be supervised at all times in the outdoor spaces and and around water.

Pet Parents, we love pets!
Please review our Pet Policy in the House Rules before booking. Dogs should not be left alone unless crated—for everyone’s safety, including your pet’s. You’re welcome to have a pet sitter stay with them while you’re out. Check out “Rover” for local sitters, or ask us in advance—we’re happy to help with arrangements!

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run the cycle (if any dishes were used). Throw away any opened food items from the fridge or pantry. We take care of the trash.
Cover the swim spa, put pool toys & accessories in the deck box. If you used the fire pit, please make sure the propane tank is off/closed. Pet Owners: Ensure you’ve cleaned up after your pet.
Final Steps    Lock Doors - Front, back, and side entrances (Don’t forget to check the Shark Shack! Ensure it’s locked as well) Turn off lights. The AC can stay on. Thanks for your co-operation.
