Fantastic family holiday

We stayed at the horizon karon beach resort, 24may for 4 nights in club wing pool view, really nice room very big and clean, staff where really helpful, pool very quiet always enough sunbeds, food was very good plenty of choice, taxi to and from hotel to airport very good service, will Def be back again plenty of things to do near by beach was amazing and not to busy

Amazing family gataway

Really amazing hotel from rooms to pools to restaurants to all public places were excellent. Being vegeternian (Jain ) hotel chefs made spectial food for us for breakfast and evening dinner kamal and balveer and Bipin were exceptional . Hotel failed badly on spa side of the business the prices were so expensive that we could even try one treatment they were 4 to 5 times more expensive then outside . Hope the management make note of this . We will come back and will definitely recommend to our family and friends ( Jain ) .

Lovely hotel

We stayed in Superior rooms (includes breakfast and dinner) part of the resort which overlooks one of the 2 pools. We asked for our second room with children to be close to ours ahead of arrival and we provided rooms with interconnecting doors so very pleased with that. Rooms are spacious with free bottled water provided daily and a well stocked mini bar. Pool towels as well as bath towels provided daily if required. Could not understand why they instal a cloth blind in the bath for the frosted window looking into the bedroom. Bath surround overflows and we had to use towels to stem the downpour onto the floor daily. Spacious cupboard space with safe, ironing board + iron and hair dryer provided so no need to bring your own. One tip - our adapters did not work so we bought a couple for around £3 from the 7eleven down the road. 2 queen beds so great to lounge around. Breakfast was a tad early for our liking 6.30 to 10am but good range. Dinner tended to be a bit repetitive at times (especially if vegetarians) although decent range. Lots of fresh fruit and salads available. Great surrounding with lots of foliage and despite monsoon season, didn't affect us at all. Karon beach is much better that Patong beach, clean sand, wide beach and plenty of sunbeds but be warned the sun is misleading and got burnt for the first time ever. Understand now what reviewers meant by the hill. Challenge for any age but tuk tuk service provided if required. Great bus service into Patong daily which is free. Recommend Patong for any shopping as limited in karon. Staff are very helpful. Did one tour to Phi Phi islands which felt was done on a shoestring budget by the company as sometimes did not get off the boat or had limited time for activities. Mr Kriang was most helpful and friendly. We forgot we had booked for the bus to Patong and they still came to find us to check if we were going. Although live singer daily no other forms of entertainment so difficult to keep a 22 and 15 yr old occupied. Games room closes too early. Hotel would really benefit from provided some form of entertainment as very dead in the evenings and other than bars and restaurants, not a lot else happening in karon.

A perfect hotel!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Horizon Karon Beach resort. Lovely hotel with great amenities (specially if you stay at the Priviledge club). The rooms were extremely spacious, the staff were all very friendly, the location was great in between Karon and Kata (although the hotel is on top of a hill so bear this in mind), We will definately be going back in a few years!!! :)

HOTEL an einer Anhöhe nähe des Strandes

Im großem und ganzem war ich sehr zu frieden, das Hotel liegt auf einer kleinen Anhöhe ca. 150m vom Strand weg. Die Hotelanlage mit Fitness, Pool und Pool-Baar fand ich sehr gut. Das Zimmer selbst nicht gerade der Renner(laute Klimaanlage) aber es hatte alles was mann brauchte, die Bedienung/Zimmerservice war sehr freundlich. Frühstück am besten geschmeckt hat mir das Omelett empfehlenswert;)) Vom Hotel aus ist mann auch sehr schnell im Zentrum/Karon und wo mann hin schaut überall sehr gute Lokale in denen mann sehr leckers essen bekommt die Meeresfrüchte waren überall der Hammer.

Pros: Henkilökunta
Cons: Sänkyjä. Liian kovat.
Location: Karon beach on lähellä joka todella hyvä uimaranta.
Pieni miinus oli suht kaukainen sijainti rannasta, kun kyse on rantalomakohteesta. Mutta ilmainen kuljetus toimi loistavasti. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja huomioivaa.

Premier séjour à Phuket

Travaux à côté de l'hôtel . Bruit de machines dans tous les endroits. 7 jours sur 7.Nouvel hotel en construction, pas mentionné pendant ma réservation. Travaux sur une durée de 1 an. Cheveux dans la chambre après chaque nettoyage.
