I stayed at Hotel Sole for my 10 day stay in Phuket. Overall the hotel is great for the price, with a nice Italian restaurant attached. The only issue I had was when I booked the hotel, the site said there was a hot tub and a regular swimming pool, however when I arrived I learned that the only pool they had was a small children’s wading pool and no hot tub.

This property is in the perfect location to walk to anything! The staff is awesome. The only downside is the beds are VERY hard, they are not mattresses, but a thin piece of material over springs. The room is really outdated and many things don’t work, but the air conditioner was working great! There are probably better options, but for the money it is hard to beat!

Look, it's a cheap option and that's what you get. The walls of the hotel are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING around you, including early morning cleaning of the other rooms. It doesn't feel private. The room wasn't cleaned after day 1, and the front desk receptionist (not the elderly man, he was friendly) was very unwelcoming. The blanket was the wrong size for the bed, there were constant plumbing noises coming from the walls, and the aircon was very loud / oscillated.
