This well appointed home can comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 4 children within 4 bedrooms, each ensuited and well appointed with not only air-conditioning but great cross ventilation to take advantage of the natural air-flow. Driftwood now features Wifi



Driftwood is part of the Magnetic Group's luxury property collection. This luxury, family holiday home has captured the true essence of feeling like the only place on a tropical island. Perfectly positioned on the sunset side of the Headland to capture a commanding view across the water. "Driftwood" is set on the most secluded and peaceful area of beautiful Nobby Headland amongst Magnetic lsland's granite boulders and natural bush. If offers you unparalleled quiet and privacy. There is also access to a small, secluded sandy bay below. Take the time to relax in the solar heated infinity pool, enjoy a chilled sundowner and let yourself "drift" .



The main deck captures a great sunset view and provides shade to the pool underneath. Local wildlife will be your closest neighbours including rock wallabies. Please remember not to feed them! A stroll to Picnic Bay gives you access to the jetty to cast a fishing line, local shops, local hotel or walk to the golf course where you can hire clubs and buggies.



This home is fully air-conditioned but has been built to capture the breeze, offering great cross ventilation. The 4 bedrooms are ensuited and furnished to comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children.



"Driftwood" is well appointed and offers all that would be required for a great family holiday featuring gourmet kitchen, fully equipped laundry, BBQ and large front deck ideal for reclining under the stars and a deep swimming pool not to mention a water view that is second to none! This pool is temperature controlled during the winter months.





Please Note: The bunk room is only suitable for children so the house caters for a maximum 6 Adults and 4 children. Bookings for more than 6 Adults cannot be accepted.



Property specific note :

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Schoolies or School leavers will not be accepted.



Guest Access:

You will have access to the whole house.



The Neighborhood:

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.

67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.



Getting Around:

Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.

If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.



Other Things to Note:

Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
