Good hotel for overnight stay waiting for the ferry. Rooms were clean Limited evening menu ,but food was excellent. Staff were also very helpful Close to railway station and ferry terminal

The staff from the pacific island were wonderful, average hotel though , adequate for one night for ferry crossing . It was previously known as the yacht club so caused us some confusion when we found it had changed its name to Edit hotel . The breakfast was adequate but not willing to pay the extra ten dollars required for a full English breakfast

Well located but filthy. Stayed here twice at the beginning and end of our south island trip. Family budget room was dirty with dust layer visible on the walls and thick layer of dust under the beds - terrible for asthma. Shower goes all over the floor so everything gets wet and the bath mat is dirty from trying to mop up the wetness. We asked the front desk staff where was good for a quick dinner locally and she was keen to just upsell us to the in house restaurant. On the upside, pool is nice and heated so that is good for kids.
