Nice hotel very handy for ferry. Our ferry arrived late so key was left for us. Had no interaction with staff as didn’t need to. Was in good spot for restaurants shops etc Very brief overnight stop but very nice and comfortable.

We chose to stay here as we’re arriving late and wanted just to dine in at their advertised restaurant and not have to go out. At checkin we were told that the restaurant wasn’t open as the chef wasn’t working. They still had a board sign on the driveway advertising their restraunt which I felt was misleading.

The room itself was a little dated but the view was incredible! Very close to shopping and dining. Lots to do in the Picton area including wine tasting, hiking and boating. Great location!

Staff very friendly. Room was very large with lots of space to spread out after a long drive. Conveniently located walking distance to the main street. Onsite restaurant meals are excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were great and went out of there way to be hospitable for our 2 room stay 11/10 Beachcomber as a brand is starting to show its age, facilities are nice, aroma of wet carpet in the lifts was the same as the beachcomber in the bay of islands, brought back fond childhood memories
