If you are looking for a piece of heaven in Tuscany, look no further than Samsara Apartment. I honestly don't know where to begin. It is such a beautiful apartment, well appointed, stocked with everything you could possibly want or need and comfortable beyond words. Attention to detail is top of mind for Host Cristina and her husband Dario. They absolutely spoiled us by offering to make reservations and offering tips about the beautiful town of Pienza, which is a lovely hilltop village over looking the Val d'Orcia. Step outside of the apartment to a lovely piazza with 3 amazing restaurants, the local butcher and hat store. The morning rituals of pealing church bells and the owners of the restaurants warmly greeting one another was often the highlight of my day. Although Pienza is buzzing with activity and tourists during the day, the nights are quiet, calm and magical with locals having dinner and walking through the medieval streets and alleyways. My husband and I stayed for an extended period of time and felt like we had found our home away from home at Samsara. My only dismay was having to leave this wonderful location, lovely town and its people, and not being able seeing our fabulous Host regularly. Thank you Cristina and Dario, you are simply the best.
