The hotel room was not cleaned, hair, blood, toe nail clippers on the floors and beds! Switched rooms only to have the same issue with the second room and was told we could not be accommodated with another room!

Not continental breakfast, more like snacks

Room and hotel was as to be expected with this price point. Beds were very comfortable. Our main issue was with the “continental breakfast”. Their posted breakfast hours are 8-10am. We went down at 9:17am and there were a few granola bars and one pop tart, not even a toaster. They did have coffee but we aren’t coffee drinkers so I can’t speak on that (it didn’t look like anything special). I understand that breakfast can get picked over but it’s not like we came down 5 minutes before they closed, and if you’re only serving granola bars they aren’t that hard to restock. Not to mention I checked the following two mornings of our stay (earlier than the first day) and there was even less, 3 total granola bars the second day and none on the last! I know all continental breakfasts are different from hotel to hotel. I wasn’t necessarily expecting eggs and bacon but some toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, or even those prepackaged danishes would have been nice. I picked this hotel partially for the breakfast and unfortunately we had to go out because I require more than a granola bar and coffee for my morning meal.

The room was a nice room. The couch was very dirty though. I was ch$101.36 on my card for the room and then I noticed that they changed me another $75.00 and I can't get ahold of them to find out why I was charging the extra $75.00

No one to wait on us when we arrived. Finally checked in. No receipt due to computers being down. 3 towels and 2 bath clothes for 4 people. Floor were dirty. Breakfast offered was a granola bar and coffee. Not what was shown when we rented our room. Overall pretty shabby.

This place is in shambles! I’m not sure that a makeover would help, maybe a total tear down and rebuild would be easier. Staff was unfriendly as we had to go to the front desk to turn in our used towels for clean ones. Ick! We were informed upon check in that we had to put a $75 damage deposit which was not stated on the website. Ugh, but ok, hold my money for 5 to 7 days… The advertised breakfast was literally a Poptart and if you’re lucky a very small cup of coffee. Nothing else was offered. As a gentleman in the parking lot said, “When I leave here, I feel like I need to go get a tetanus shot!! Now that’s bad! Howard Johnson, do better!

It is advertised that there is a breakfast included, in the room it is advertised in a Howard Johnson book that the stay includes a free full hot breakfast. There was no such thing at all. The breakfast was cold pop tarts with no way to toast them and granola bars. The only thing to drink was coffee. There was also trash scattered on the counter, all of which I have pictures of. There was no ice bucket in my room and the phone was hidden in the bedside table.I had no maid service the entire week I was there. The heated pool was nice, but they clean the deck area about as often as they cleaned my room, there were discarded items in several places on the deck that stated in the same spots the whole week. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. This is a warning to everyone that is looking at this hotel, please Don’t waste your money at this place.

The hotel itself is very run down on the outside and has uneven walk ways to the rooms, however the room was really the issue there was what appeared to be mold in the bathroom on the wall, the lights had no housing so they're are exposed wires in the bathroom, the tub overall was not appealing, caulk was missing and again what appeared to be more mold around the tub. The mattress was dirty with dark spots all over. When checking in it took 20 mins with one person ahead of me, the guy checking me in initally said that they would need to charge me for the whole stay again because hotels.com didn't pay them, when asked to check again, he said he'd checked everywhere but after saying that I would allow the additional charge as it was 1am and then call hotels.com when I got to the room to sort it out he magically found it had been paid. There were multiple charges for the deposit that went through and had to be credited. We stayed as it was a weekend trip and had funds wrapped up in the stay. Kicker was when going down for the breakfast that's advertised it was stale pop tarts and cereal bars. My husband went down with our daughter to be greeted by other unhappy clients and staff saying that's all there was. Overall unhappy with the property and disappointed as this is a reputable name and why I chose it.

We paid extra for early check-in at one housekeeping, rude front desk rude said room would not even be ready by three trash down the hallways, housekeeping, dirty laundry was out into the hallway. All cans were full with trash bags on top garbage outside the hotel.

Arrived to check in on Friday the lady that checked us in was okay, she charged my bank card twice for the 75 dollar damage fee. Saturday went to Dollywood came back and the hotel cleaners didn’t come in to clean or even bring new towels or wash cloth. I had to go down to the desk and ask for towels for me and my family. Sunday went to check out and waited about 5/10 mins for someone to check me out. Me and my family wasn’t to happy about our stay at this hotel. We visit pigeon forge twice a year.
