We show up to check in. I was handed a room key and after I was handed the key I was told it was on the 1st floor. This was not the room we booked online. He said this room was all he could give me. I asked him why we could not have the room we booked weeks in advance. He said this room was all they could offer. So I said, you are not going to give us the room we booked and paid in full online for? He again handed me the key and pointed 4 steps from the desk where rhis new room was. I walked over as he wanted me to look opened the door went back to the desk and said there is no way we booked a suite with a kitchen and seperate bedroom and this looked like was a dark closet that smelled bad from the door and what I could see of the bed it looked unmade. I said here is the key this will not work and we booked a very different room. I showed him our reservation and he said again the room you booked is not available. I said I don't understand why we reserved it weeks ago. Then he said well it is non refundable and we had to take what he had. I said no we do not. We want what we reserved or you can note that we were not given what we booked and we can leave. 2 days later Expedia said the Hotel told them we stayed there. I told them check them desk cameras it will show we did not. Worst experience ever. I cannot believe we traveled all that way to be left with no where to stay and told we could not have what we booked or our money back. Pics don't match the property as well.
