We are so excited about our cabin! Our family is not new to the area or to Sherwood Forest as we own another cabin in this very same community. You may wonder why build another cabin in the same community, the answer is simple, Sherwood Forest is the absolute most perfect vacation destination. We are located 1.5 miles from The Parkway which is the thoroughfare conveniently leading you to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Downtown Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and other Sevierville attractions. We are also only 4 miles from Dollywood!
Our cabin has the most amazing unobstructed views of Mt Leconte. So whether you are making breakfast in the kitchen, relaxing in the family room or rocking on the deck, you will have a breathtaking view of the best nature has to offer!
I'm sure you'd like to know a little bit about our cabin. Well, when you enter the cabin your eyes are instantly drawn to the wall of windows and view as well as the lofted ceiling in the kitchen and family room. The 2 story windows allow for ample natural light and a bright and airy atmosphere. Our kitchen has cherry cabinetry, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances along with all the essentials any chef would desire!
The family room is so comfy with a large corner fireplace, ample seating and a sofa sleeper. Also on the main floor you'll find bedroom #1 with a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. Additionally you'll find bedroom #2 on the main floor with another en suite bathroom.
If you travel upstairs from the main floor, you'll find a loft area with a pool table, futon and arcade game. Off of the loft you'll have access to bedroom #3 with another king sized bed, en suite bathroom and private balcony overlooking Mt. Laconte.
From the main level you can access the lower level where you'll find the media room with seating for 12 and comfy floor space for others to huddle together to watch movies! Next you'll find bedroom #4 with an en suite bathroom and access to another balcony where the hot tub is located. And the piece de resistance is the indoor heated pool. The pool has entrances from the hallway and the balcony and both doors have keypad entry for the safety of all guests.
Even though the cabin itself, with all of it's amenities, could keep you happy for a long while, you may actually want to venture out to see the town. Once you travel down the mountain, all of the attractions are at your finger tips including attractions such as Wonder Works, The Titanic Museum, Dollywood, Splash Country, MagiQuest, the Alpine Coaster, dinner theaters, comedy clubs, etc.
Maybe you are interested in spending time with nature, the Great Smoky Mountains are filled with trails and site seeing for guests of all ages. And if you visit in the winter, you may be interested in Ober Gatlinburg to ski and snowboard!

(We take great care in preparing our cabin for our guests arrival and the arrival of every guest after you! Our cleaning staff continues to disinfect every surface with lysol and bleach products assuring the destruction of any virus. These are the products the CDC has suggested we use to keep you safe. )

This cabin offers its guests an indoor pool and a hot tub. Barbecue grills, an arcade/game room, and laundry facilities are also featured at the family-friendly cabin.
