Aufenthalt in Gastouni

Anreise mit Navigator. Schlüssel wurde gebracht. Kurze Einweisung. Es gab 3 Ventilatoren, Elektroherd funktionierte nicht. Toilettenspülung, großes Geschäft, nur mit einer Schüssel Wasser. Alte, marode Fensterläden und Betonwände ! Dann pro Nacht 10,-€ für den Hund. Kein Geschäft in der Nähe. Der Strand und die Tavernen waren super!

Nettes Apartment nahe an schönem Strand

Pros: Das Apartment mit drei Schlafzimmern, kleinem Badezimmer, Küche mit Esszimmer und Terrasse liegt im ersten Stock eines darüber noch nicht ganz fertigen Hauses. Wir haben dort zu dritt drei sehr angenehme Wochen verbracht. Trotz später und verspäteter Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, ink. einiger Lebensmitteln als Willkommensgeschenk. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Ioana war sehr nett, der Kontakt auf englisch mit ihr sehr gut. Sie war sehr bemüht, fehlende Küchenutensilien wurden umgehend gebracht, auch gab sie immer wieder Hinweise auf Märkte, Veranstaltungen u.a. Vom Apartment sind es nur ca. 40 m an den ewig langen, schönen Sandstrand, am dem wir während unseres Aufenthalts meistens ganz allein waren. Mit dem Auto kann man von dort die Gegend sehr gut erkunden, antike Stätten besuchen etc. Cons: Das Badezimmer ist landestypisch recht klein und wirkt etwas abgenutzt. Das Wasserdruck im Handwaschbecken im Bad ist sehr schwach, zum Zähneputzen haben wir das Becken in der Küche benutzt, dort ist stärkerer Wasserdruck. Wenn die Bewohner des Erdgeschosses da sind (was bei uns nur selten der Fall war) und das Wasser nutzten, ist der Wasserdruck im ganzen Apartment sehr schwach. Mücken waren während unseres Aufenthalts ein Problem, der kleine Ort ist wohl insgesamt etwas feucht, es hatte vor unserer Ankunft aber wohl auch viel geregnet. Das Mückenproblem hatten wir aber auch schon bei anderen Unterkünften im Peloponnes und deshalb eine elektrische Fliegenklatsche dabei, die wir dringend empfehlen. Ein bis zweimal am Tag flogen jeweils für ein paar Minuten zwei Militärjets im Tiefflug über den Ort, das war aber insgesamt nicht dramatisch.
