The house has a lot of potential, and I think the host will make it a great off-the-grid getaway in Piriapolis with a bit more work. Several amenities were different than expected, and we ended up finding other accommodations. To be fair, some of that's on us — we should have confirmed Wi-Fi, bed size, and kitchen details before booking rather than assuming. That said, there was no internet (not listed, but not ruled out either), the bed wasn't king-sized, there was no coffee maker, no hot water in the kitchen, and no TVs in the guest rooms as listed.The yard is beautiful — a big parrilla and eating area — and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. With some finishing touches, this will be a great spot.Also worth noting: VRBO was excellent throughout — responsive, and they refunded us without hassle.
