I loved the room and the location cannot be beat if you’re going to a show at the arena, but they were so ill prepared to check in guests that it took almost 2 hours of waiting in a line that stretched around the entire lobby at check-in. Understaffed for breakfast as well and free breakfast would’ve been nice.

Upon check in, I was charged $124 w/ no explanation. I got a text once I got to my room & replied to it. I got an answer the next morning explaining it was for two nights of parking & a $50 charge for incidentals. The room was nice but pay for the upgrade & don’t get one w/ the foldout bed. There was no fitted sheet for it, we had to use flat sheets that we found in the closet. The mattress was stained in multiple places. There are a lot of pillows & an ottoman. There isn’t enough room to just move the ottoman so we ended up laying it flat against the wall upright, which caused an obstacle to get around in the room. The bed was old and sunk in and made awful noises when you move that woke up everybody in the other bed. The shower floor was dirty. Hot was cold, cold was hot. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom so prepare to sweat once you get out of the shower because there’s no fans. My husband said that the gym was the same way, no fans and it was extremely hot in there. The pool and hot tub were probably the best amenity of the hotel. We ate in the café one morning, there was only one server working and she was extremely overwhelmed. And why doesn’t the café serve milk? Her first night was not great because there was a Rap concert at the arena & our windows were shaking until way past 11 PM. We never heard anyone above or next to us which was nice. The TV is in the room are old, & half of the channels were blacked & couldn’t mirror our phones to them.

The lobby was beautifu, but the rooms left much to be desired. Not the cleanest, A/C wasn’t working, bathtub clogged, and just outdated. It was a decent experience, but the value wasn’t there for the price.

So convenient for a PPG event. Staff was friendly , Very punctual on the check in and for some reason aggressive on check out. Housekeeping tried keycard on my room at 9am as my son was still in there as i was putting air in my tire in the lot.for a 11 am check out

Had to sit around and wait to check in even though I requested early check in. No hot water in morning in shower. They would not lower my bill which is ridiculous. Parking was advertised at $25/night but they charge $32 (way too high for Pittsburgh). Room was okay. I’ll look at other area hotels before returning here.
