Extremely DISAPPOINTED stay

I want to be candid in saying this was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. While check-in was smooth and the staff member at the front desk was courteous—going so far as to upgrade us to a larger room, which I initially appreciated—the experience quickly deteriorated. At 4:00 AM, we were abruptly woken by loud construction just outside our room. This wasn’t mild maintenance—it involved ripping up the road with a jackhammer. The noise was unbearable and completely disrupted our sleep. I’m not exaggerating when I say I may have gotten no more than three hours of rest that night. Had I been informed in advance that major roadwork would be taking place during our stay—especially in the middle of the night—I would have absolutely chosen a different hotel. It’s unacceptable not to disclose such critical information when it directly impacts the guest experience. I’m extremely disappointed and frankly frustrated that this ruined what should have been a restful stay.

Room was tiny and was looking straight at the high rise across the street. It was clean and I'm good condition though. Bed was decent, shower was nice. I was disappointed there was no microwave and the fridge was so small my take out boxes wouldn't fit. For the price it should've been better imo. The restaurant food was good but service was terrible. The roof top was pretty. Easy walk /uber to PPG Paints arena.

We stayed at the Joinery Hotel in Pittsburgh and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The air conditioning in our room was POOR — it barely worked and left the room feeling stuffy and musty the entire time. The location also wasn’t quite as “downtown” as we expected; it was a bit farther from the main attractions than we expected, so expect to be walking or driving more. We were also really looking forward to the rooftop terrace, but it was closed during our stay with no notice, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel just didn’t meet the standard I usually associate with Hilton properties. For the price and brand name, I expected a more comfortable and polished experience. On the pulse side we did have really great bartenders and drinks at Millhouse
