Great location and friendly, accommodating staff. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but I appreciate the snacks. We were specifically wanting a place with a pool, and were disappointed it was on the chilly side. Rooms were not very soundproof - we could hear many of our neighbors and it was definitely disruptive to our sleep and stay. I would probably stay here again.

Please contact me about this stay: I’m a recent guest at the Homewood suites and Inn in downtown Pittsburgh. This is my second stay in the past week on a different date. This evening I checked in with no issues. Upon returning to my hotel at approximately midnight this evening, I was confronted by a man working at the front desk. As I approach the desk, he refused to acknowledge me. I explained that I was there to purchase a snack. As attempted to buy a snack from the market area. He was extremely rude and threatened me. I repeatedly explained that I was a guest and simply wanted to purchase something and*his help. He refused and I ended up not making a purchase. Not sure what his issue was or is. I called into your corporate number and the associate called in to get the manager’s information. He was extremely rude to her and she was able to provide this email and the manager’s first name, But not able to provide the associates name As he would not provide it. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels and other large hotel chains. I’ve never been treated like that in my entire life at a hotel. I would like contact and a full refund for this stay.

We always like staying here. This time we brought our Shih-tzu. Bringing your pet always seems like a good idea. We never considered there is no area for the dogs to go to the bathroom around the hotel, except for one small area that is literally weeds and dirt and it was "dog-poop city"!

Room was clean, but no shampoo in bottle, but once I spoke to Sadie at front desk she had it taken care of right away. Staff was very nice - breakfast was limited if you got down there by 8 am but on the day I left at 6:30 am there was a large choice and I wasn’t able to have any. Coffee was watery - had to walk to Starbucks to get some to wake me up. Overall a nice place to stay and staff was lovely.

We got into town well before check-in time. We traveled with two cars due to luggage. Even though we weren’t able to check into our room, the front desk staff offered to hold our luggage so we could drive around the city with one car… Anybody who’s navigated Pittsburgh knows that this is a big help. I also requested extra pillows when I made my reservation online… When we got to our room, there was a pile of pillows waiting for us. The the rooms were large, clean and modern. The breakfast was very good. They also had parking on the first floor connected to the hotel, which made the entire state very convenient. This is where I will be staying my next trip to Pittsburgh.
