Truly Clean!!

Very clean! Good food in the restaurant. I like the decor as it represents the city. I would stay here again, however, I will bring my own pillow. The pillows in the room are very thick and stuffed firm. They were too tall for both of us. That is just personal preference.

Nice Hotel, Location is far from everything.

The listing is very misleading regarding their location in Pittsburgh. I was expecting to be much closer to PNC Park. Hotel is nice but lacks a decent restaurant and is far from anything in Pittsburgh.

A bit disappointed

The hotel is nice but very dark. The room was also very dark. It was a nice room. It overlooks the highway which the nice doesn’t bother me at all. Floors need to be a bit more clean. I felt the parking rate was about excessive. I understand everyone charges but I usually pay 15-20, not 30 a night Overall it served its purpose.

We liked the close proximity to UPitt and the cleanliness of the common areas and our room. We also liked the total black out blinds. Parking was easy and close. Having a running/bike trail nearby was great as well. We did not like the noise level. We could hear conversations through our bathroom vent and also when people arrived to their rooms between 2-3am both nights we stayed on property. Noise level to the highway is also high, but more like white noise for us. One of the two elevators was also out of service, for part of our stay. While these are things out of the hotel’s control, we did share our experience and they very generously comped our parking fees.

The hotel itself is very nice, well kept and clean. The unfortunate circumstance is that it is right next to a very busy highway and street. It is also a little disappointing that the cost is a little higher than most. I think the high cost could be justified by including breakfast with the stay.
