Our stay at The Oaklander Hotel, Autograph Collection was decent overall. Decided to go with the hotel and spend a little extra for the Studio Suite, 1 King Bed, Corner view as I was surprising my partner with trip and tickets to the Pittsburgh Steelers game for his Birthday. The view from the hotel was lovely. Cleanliness was excellent. Cons: I called well in advance to ask about a Military discount, I provided my reservation number and dates and was told that nothing further was needed; I would simply need to mention it at check in along with providing my Military ID and a discount would be honored. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the discount could not be applied due to it being a “special event” weekend. This was quite frustrating and misleading, especially since I had been assured otherwise during my call. Additionally, the beds were extremely uncomfortable very firm, almost like sleeping on cardboard. My partner and I both experienced body aches for days afterward because we didn’t sleep well. The overall experience simply was not worth the cost.

Had a very nice stay at the Oaklander. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!! Valet service is convenient and prompt. Gym was well equipped and clean. Rooms were very nice.
