Exceptional vacation spot for a small family! Right on the beach with amazing pool, SUP and kayaks. Enjoy family time and spend more moments together. This studio is all about THE VIEW and its own roof-top terrace.

This lovely studio apartment, located on the third floor, has a huge kitchen with granite counter tops. The open concept studio has a queen-bed and a sofa-bed. But it´s all about the view! 360 degrees view over the Maya Mountains and the Caribbean Sea in every corner of the studio. From your private rooftop terrace the view is even better. The AC will keep you and the family cool. There is no TV but don’t worry, you have wireless internet available. But who needs a TV when you have the perfect nature at your doorstep?

But hey, that’s not all: There is a large pool with lounge chairs. A big outdoor BBQ with so much counter space that you can cook for your little family army. Oh, and there is more! A huge outdoor shower and of course the beauty of the Caribbean Sea with 120 feet beach right on your doorstep. Picnic table and hammocks give you space enough on the beach to spread out and if you need even more space take the kayaks out to the sea to meet with dolphins and manatees!

Moonrise Beach is a perfect spot if you are coming to research the difference between Placencia and Hopkins, this is the perfect middle point.

Close to all the waterfalls and hiking trails. It is a stunning newly remodeled villa at the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Located at the top of the Placencia Peninsula, it is a great base for exploring all the inland adventures of Belize.

The property has a pool with a deep end and large shallow end for the kids. The 120' of beach from where to cast off on one of the SUPs or Kayaks. Swimming Pool and BBQ are shared spaces.

A Great Escape

Enjoyed the privacy and view from the studio. The breeze made sleeping and relaxing very enjoyable. Appreciated the paddle board and kayak. The summary of itineraries in the blue folder helped us considerably. We enjoyed our tour to Red Bank (Raul) to see the Scarlet McCaws. Went to the Cockscomb Sanctuary and floated the river and hiked to the waterfall. Ate at recommended restaurants. All in all it was a fabulous 8 days. Enjoyed every guest that stayed at the house too. Everyone was personable and respectful of the space. We would definitely book again.

Perfect Retreat at the North End of Placencia

My wife and I stayed a week at Moonrise Beach, and it was a wonderful place to begin our exploration of Belize and then return to relax. The studio on top is great for two with a view, and there is also a 3 bedroom unit on the main floor. Both recently updated and well maintained. The pool was a blessing as we got used to the heat and humidity. We had a rental car, so driving into Placencia Village was easy, so we could enjoy a food tour, snorkel or river excursion. But then coming back to relax on the property was the icing on the cake. Both the property manager and owners were very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a homebase to explore this area of Belize, this is it.
