This was our second winter trip to the Turtle Inn. We were delayed by a blizzard and arrived 3 days late, but it was such a welcome relief to get there. Can't say enough about how we enjoy this magical place. Staff was top notch, food was excellent, and the massage! Oh the massage. It made us forget about the 39" of snow back home. We will be back again next year.

Sargassum seaweed lines the beaches throughout the Carribean and this beach is no exception. Also, sand flies and mosquitoes were prevalent in this area, requiring nets over the bed to sleep at night. The property was nice, but very expensive.

What a beautiful resort. After coming from San Pedro this place was truly paradise. The staff is friendly and everyone is always willing to help. The restaurants are delicious. The concierge will book everything for you so please use them. Take some time to go to the gift shop and have some delicious pizza! The rooms are amazing just be careful with the mosquitos. They go above and beyond to try to make your trip what you want it to be whether it’s expeditions or just sitting by the pools. Martin , the manager, really sets the tone with his staff from top to bottom it’s excellence ! Not to mention the resort’s dog Chip! AC went out first night for us and others, we stayed and moved, they left. Cabanas back to main road and are noisy. Doors don’t lock very well and fans don’t work. The excursion of river tubing that the front desk recommended was way too shallow to tube. They still charged full price. It’s beautiful place, staff nice and food is good but way overpriced for what you get in my opinion.
