Great value for the price. I was a little hesitant after seeing the mixed reviews but I’m glad I took a chance. The room and sheets were very clean. You can definitely tell it’s an old Holiday Inn but that’s not a bad thing. The bathroom was on the small side but the room itself was a good size. Great location near stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a very outdated motel. Our heater didn't work properly, the beds were too high, bathroom was freezing, and room was dusty. We cleaned the two filters in the AC/heater unit. Heated indoor pool was very cold.

The hotel is clean it is very odd to me that at breakfast each slice of bread is individually wrapped in saran wrap. I think that the pool area could use some tlc the bath faucet was defective so no shower pressurethere were dead lady bugs all over

The staff, whether it was the front desk or the breakfast workers, were all very nice. Did not interact with housekeeping because I requested 'not to be disturbed'. The only detraction was my room's heating unit. I expected the fan would shut off when on auto but it didn't. It was ok because it kept the room very warm.

The Pool/Hot Tub area was absolutely disgusting with the Hot Tub bring the worst. The pool room has a massive backed up sewer odor that I immediately brought to the Front Desk Clerk within minutes after my Granddaughters and I entered the Hot Tub. Front Desk Clerk said she would have Maintenance check it out. We left the area where I ended up spending an $120 at the Arcade to make up for the girls not being able to enjoy the pool/hot tub amenities for which our reason for booking. A couple of hours or so later I returned to the Front Desk to inquire on the status of the pool/hot tub area. I was told the Maintenance will be checking it out tomorrow. I explained to her that it was an overnight stay so tomorrow doesn't do anything for us.. I called HOTELS.COM where a wonderful Customer Service Rep contacted the Days Inn/Plattsburgh with the attempt to secure a resolution for me. By this time it's dark, the weather report was calling for a major ice storm. I wasn't driving approximately 30 Miles with my Grandchildren in the car on dangerous roads. (Countless News Reports will validate.) The Customer Service Rep informed me that the young Front Desk Clerk told him she had no authority to negotiate a refund, etc. That being said we both agreed I would have to speak to a Manager in the AM. I did and she didn't care. Wyndam Corp has been directly contacted. Stained sheets! Marijuana odor! Never again!
