This is probably my favorite aloft hotel. I stay at aloft all throughout the US and I really enjoy them. They are, in my opinion, very quality hotels for those who are on a budget. I love this particular location because it’s really close to the beach and also close to fifth Avenue, other restaurants and shopping. The staff are wonderful and the hotel grounds are well-maintained.

The Aloft is a great location to 5th Avenue and the beach. There is a very large supermarket on the 1st floor which was very handy for whatever we needed. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax except the music wasn't so relaxing in our opinion. The only negative thing was that we did have to ask for different things that weren't restocked in our room.

This was a great hotel in a fantastic location but a few things could be improved - the flow of water in taps and showers was severely restricted - despite being a decent breakfast buffet spread, the quantity of food was not replenished based on guest counts We enjoyed our stay and will probably go back
