Everything was excellent except for the food hours they were closed really early and the hotel comes with jet ski and catamaran but you only need to book it like a month in ahead to be able to have fun of all those amenities that the hotel has

The casitas is worth the money. The outdoor shower was my favorite. Breakfast and lunch on the balcony was wonderful, the breeze and the ocean view made it more romantic. My husband napped on the balcony everyday. Perfect for R & R

Great place for the 40+ crowd. The grounds were beautiful, the staff helpful, and the food at the ala cart restaurants was amazing. The included transportation to the resort was terrible in that they put us with a bus load of a private group that took an hour to process. The now obligatory timeshare upsell was a big turnoff.

Great place to stay! Honestly a little bigger than I first thought. A lot of the dinner restaurants are almost a mile walk from El Dorado Royale to El Dorado Royale Casitas (sister resort up the coast). But there are shuttle options if you do not want to walk.

The scenic walk throughout the property was breath taking. We visited several pools and had a great time at all of them. The night life was very entertaining and had something for everyone from live entertainment to karaoke. Dinner reservations were a bit hard for a party of 8, but we made the best of it.
