Horrific and do not plan to use Hotels.com anymore

This property is 100% misrepresented to its location. On the Hotels.com website map, this property is shown in downtown Playa Del Carmen and near the intersection of 5 Ave & 40 Norte. It’s actually located over 8KM north of the city, down a dirt road and behind another resort. Once we arrived, we immediately called Hotels.com but they could offer any refund to book another hotel for our stay. After 1.5 hours on the phone with Hotels.com, we left for another property without any resolution. My wife and I wanted and thought we booked a downtown location that we could walk around for meals, drinks & shopping as well as get out to the beach.
