Pros- Friendly staff/ attentive staff The room was nice Con’s-The property is very far from anything , certainly for the older crowd, no activities I’m thinking adults only pool parties good drinks definitely not ,when I arrived on the property there was construction men welding the water fountain, the room next door was under construction nosey all day , the pool was blocked halfway due to construction, while in the pool there was a guy on the other side corking and putting new tiles ,hotel is very outdated , although the food was all inclusive it wasn’t very good neither were the drinks … as lovely as the staff were will not be back

When we arrived, we were told that the elevators were out, and our room was located on the 3rd floor. Plunge pool on the balcony was filled with dirty water and hair. Room smelled like mildew. Only 2 restaurants, the one on the rooftop changed their menu once, and the snack bar food stayed the same. Waited over an hour for scrambled eggs and waffles during breakfast, food was cold the two times we did eat at the hotel, and everything closes early. No activities whatsoever!!!! Hotel staff kept offering us drugs. The hotel itself needs a complete upgrade. View was amazing!!!! Lobby staff were great and very friendly. Honestly I wouldn't waste my time or money here unless it were FREE.

Best feature was friendly staff. Poor all inclusive option, not worth it. Poor Food choice and quality. Drinks served in plastic cups. Pseudo orange or pineapple juice made from obvious sweetener powder that tasted awful, no real juice. Cocktails: poor quality. Many food items on menu not available (funniest was not having guacamole), all variants of the same basic combo. Slow service, frequently forgetting items ordered or long to be served. Fries poorly cooked, sloppy. Elevator non Functional all week. Took 2 days to fix a faucet to have cold water running. Closest restaurants are 25 min away in playa del Carmen. Resort better looking on photos than reality, poorly maintained furniture. Beach Towels very old / used, need replacing. No social activities, the only adults only aspect is that there is nothing to do if you had kids with you. Music loudspeaker poor quality and only one playing at one end of the pool. Pool poorly maintained with many loose tiles. Small part of accessible beach on one side but many rocks making it difficult to swim comfortably. Other side of beach challenging to access (need to cling to walls and walk over rocks). Replacement of soap and shampoo in room inconsistent. Idem for mini bar. Welcome “Champagne” was in fact cheap and bad tasting sparkling white wine. Poor lighting in room (no light stand or master switch bedside control for main room light). Overall sufficient to chill pool side and read a book otherwise not great value for money

I am a review reader....and the reviews that this place gets are just not accurate....This place is a hidden gem...We stayed here 4 nights and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us...the food was EXCELLENT....our room was awesome...The room ohotos are exactly as pictured...If youre looking for the party crowd....this aint it....but if youre a couple and want to spend some nice romantic alone time....this is your place...I went against my norm and gave this place a chance despite some of the reviews....and im glad I did.....THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT .

El hotel se encuentra dentro aproximadamente a unos 200 metros de la autopista al final de un camino de terracería. La entrada es muy atractiva y el personal de recepción amable. El servicio del hotel en sus áreas de alimentos y bebidas es muy precario ya que solo cuenta con una persona que brinda el servicio de barra y mesas para cuantos comensales tenga el área. Las porciones de comida son muy pequeñas y si se solicita otro platillo el personal se vuelve un tanto menos amable con gestos de disgusto. Las habitaciones les falta agua caliente, en solo un día gozamos de buena temperatura y el resto fue agua tibia, las llaves del agua en lavamanos tenían fuga y se filtraba hasta el piso. El WC estaba parcialmente desprendido arriesgando al huésped a sentarse y sentir que se movía. Durante toda la estancia el elevador no servía, obligando al huésped a subir y bajar por escaleras. El hotel contaba con mesa de billar, la cual estaba en terribles condiciones, chueca y rasgada, y tacos de golpeo chuecos. La imagen del hotel aunque no es la mejor no es mala, sin embargo el funcionamiento es bastante precario. Los accesos a la playa en ambos lados con escalones no uniformes y desnivelados sin un paso cómodo a la playa.

I stayed at Senses Riviera Maya for what was supposed to be my birthday trip. Unfortunately, the experience was unacceptable and forced me to leave in the middle of my stay for another resort. The problems included: Mold on the walls and overall poor cleanliness. Ongoing noisy renovations. No hot water for multiple days. Extremed limited food options compared to what was advertised. Discolored faucet water that felt unsafe to use. Instead of enjoying a milestone celebration, I was left frustrated, embarrassed, and disappointed. This resort did not provide the comfort, safety, or quality advertised. I would not recommend staying here.

Property was not like the pictures. Needs serious renovations. Food menu can be updated, steak everyday breakfast, lunch and dinner is excessive. Pool dirty definitely got bv from it and there is no ice machine or laundry on site. Getting a ride from the resort to downtown Cancun and back was 125$ rip off!

Great stay, met with some unexpected events (the elevator was inoperable during my stay but was repaired by the time I left. Things happen no problem I got more steps counts for the day literally. The Pool Plunge took too long to fill up due to piping issues,and again it was filled up the day I left so I didn't get to enjoy it. The reason I stated these hiccups is because I wanted to point out that management did take quick and reasonable actions to correct and accommodate me. The staff members Thomas, Sophie ,Victoria at the front desk were phenomenal! All employees were very cordial as well.

Everyone at the resort was very kind and accommodating. I do wish they had a better selection of food. The snack bar food was great. Dinner options just weren't our favorite. They stayed on top of anything we needed. Tomas was great in preparing us for the trip. And Jimena was wondeful with helping us with activities. I highly recommend the Cirque dinner experience.

The hotel was practically empty, with very few employees and limited dining options. It was also very isolated. The drink selection was extremely basic. Overall, I will never go back to that hotel. Very boring. Mind you I never write any reviews on any hotels or products but this hotel never again!!!!

I booked a 6-night stay for my birthday and had to leave after just one night. The room was unbearably humid and covered in black mold, which immediately triggered my asthma. I messaged the hotel right away with photos and explained my health concerns. They promised a manager would speak with me the next morning, but he was conveniently “unavailable” all day despite multiple attempts. The front desk offered another room, but I was too disgusted and worried for my health to stay. I checked out by early afternoon and moved to another hotel. Since then, the hotel has ignored all emails from me and Expedia requesting a refund. Extremely disappointed, this place is unsanitary and unprofessional.

It WAS NOT all inclusive. Only breakfast and dinner was included. So had to pay an extra $200 for all inclusive. The food was good and fresh. There was cracks everywhere in the rooms and balcony. The pictures ARE NOT up to date.
