I booked a Deluxe Loft and upon arrival I was put in their basic studio room and no refund for difference paid given back. This room had no loft, no balcony, not even a window. Reservation staff refused to move me to a more appropriate room or move me to their sister property. So far they are no responding to Expedia either. Horrible service. Avoid any Bunik property.

The property was quiet and clean, close enough walk to the beach but without the noise of Avenida. Wish they could get the safe to work. I can't compare with many other hotels, I know this hotel doesn't have as many features as others but the building is well cared for and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating The room contained everything that we needed ( AC,WiFi,Fridge, Microwave, Pool). I highly recommend staying here.

I liked the staff and the location. I didn’t like not having hot water in the shower and I was very disappointed that they-rented the room next to me to a group of 5 guys( the occupancy is 2) who were partying all night and the rooms are connecting. So you could hear everything.

I’m a female solo traveler from the states and Juan Carlos made this trip the absolute best. He arranged private airport transportation, helped me with logistics and was a constant friendly face at the front desk. He went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and gave the best time staying at Sofia by Bunik. The condos are very nice, in a great location and exactly what I was looking for and needed! I will definitely be back!

I stay for 9 nights the water was not working for 3 full days its was on weekend. Almost everyone left in the middle of the night to a different hotel The elevator was broken for 24 hours The toilet didn’t flush It’s was a very bad experience!!!!!!

Juan Carlos and Anita at the front desk were just incredibly warm yet professional. They were quick problem solvers. Please ask them to request Laura for an in room massage. Laura’s an experienced professional massage therapists for 10 years now and it shows. I’ll be back!

As with any experience, we made it work. For example, we were told when we arrived that water pressure is sometimes an issue, and indeed, one night there was zero water for a few hours. Staff worked to their best ability to resolve this as fast as they could. All emenities were within a short walk - (best breakfasts/lunches at Chou Chou’s one block south - best burgers/Aperol Spritz at Mu’s approx 2 blocks south) - but far enough to not hear noise from bars/clubs. Roof top pool was great with good views. Good value for the price.

The shower doesn't work well, very little amount of water was coming out which was such as incontinence! specially there was 5 of us! we had to use a blender for us to get a proper shower
