High on the hillside, with panoramic views over Lake Como, this chalet offers a luxurious holiday home for friends or family. The stunning house sleeps 10 people in comfort. With a private swimming pool and well-kept garden, it makes the perfect vacation rental for all ages.

The chalet is built out of stone and wood, with charming interiors featuring wooden floors and beamed ceilings. The cosy living room has 3 sofas and a large, ornamental fireplace. French windows open onto a stone loggia. There is an elegant dining room with a large table which seats 10 people and a separate kitchen, which is very well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge, freezer and a drip coffee machine. There is also a large dining table for more casual meals.

The owners have taken as much care with the outside space as they have with the interiors. The garden looks out over Lake Como to the mountains on the eastern shore. Guests can relax on sunbeds next to the private pool, or enjoy meals al fresco in one of the two delightful dining areas. There is an extensive gravel terrace with armchairs and a fire pit where guests can take in the beauty of their surroundings.

Sleeping
The chalet has 4 unique and stylish bedrooms. Each is furnished with a double bed and 2 have en suite bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a private sitting room and TV, as well as a beautiful balcony where guests can enjoy the stunning views over the lake.
Extra: The sofa in the sitting room converts into a double bed.

Bathrooms
There are 4 extremely spacious bathrooms equipped with a full bath, basin, bidet and WC. Two of the bathrooms also have separate showers.
There is a 5th bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, WC and basin.

Location
The chalet is on the hillside in the quiet village of Plesio above the small town of Nobiallo. Menaggio is just 10 minutes away by car. Menaggio is a mix of elegant buildings and squares and quaint paved streets in the old town. Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio’s port (11-minutes) to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

For visitors who are looking for more excitement, there is Lake Como Adventures (42 minute drive), for a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. In addition, guests can try sailing at Nobiallo (11-minute drive) or golf at Golf Club Menaggio Cadenabbia (15-minute drive)

If the delicious local restaurants and cafés inspire you to try your hand in the kitchen, the local farmers market in Via Stoppani (12-minute drive) takes place in the morning on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find an abundance of local fresh fruit and vegetables, cold cuts and artisanal cheeses.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 45-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 30 minutes away.
