The Farmhouse at Wolverwood is a cosy 3 Bedroomed residence with 180 degree views of Dartmoor. We have a Hot Tub to take in the outdoor life of the Farm. Although not a working Farm we do have family pets of Goats & Chickens which roam free around the Farm and Two very well behaved Labradors. The house sleeps up to 6 Guests with the addition of pull-out beds in two rooms on the first floor suitable for children for an extra cost. The Dining Room with table & Seating for 10 guests along with Log Burner is very relaxing to host any Family Event. The Master Bedroom along with it's en suite wet room and King Size Bed with Luxury White Bedding you will have no problem having that relaxing sleep. Two further bedrooms, 1 of which is on the same floor as Master Room and the third is on the second floor all with exceptional views over Dartmoor. The Master Bathroom is again a Wet room for easy use and is situated on the first floor. The Farmhouse has a Free Standing Galley Kitchen with separate Larder/Laundry Room and is very well equipt with Washing Machine & Tumble Drier. The Farmhouse is situated on the Hillside and surrounded 360 degree by it's own land in the middle of a 5 acre site. We are the Farm situated in the ancient Stannary Town of Plympton St Maurice which was one of the fourth in the area and dates back as far as the Saxon Period and houses an ancient hill top castle ruin along with the Old Fore Street and ancient Guildhall.
During your stay at this farm stay, you'll be within walking distance of Plympton Swimming Pool. Enjoy features like a hot tub and laundry facilities.

Amazing Christmas Holiday

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was more than we anticipated and we loved our time there. Emma and Jason were amazing hosts and very helpful leading up to and during our stay. I would encourage people to stay here as it was just a stunning location and a very peaceful place to be.

NY Family Get Together

Lovely property in the perfect location for us near family and friends. We v much appreciated the cosy farmhouse and warm welcome. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into striking the right balance between luxury accommodation while only a stones throw from Dartmoor or the coast. What more could you ask for than homemade salted caramel brownie's on arrival or welcoming in the new year in the hot tub, with fizz and majestic fireworks in front of us.

A beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful setting

The hosts were welcoming and super responsive from the point of booking and throughout our stay. There is a well equipped kitchen with some lovely extras that were there for our arrival, including fresh eggs from the farm chickens. The garden and hot tub area is great for evenings under the stars. The bathrooms are spotless with great showers and the bedrooms have super comfy beds with feather duvets and pillows and good quality cotton bedding. The lounge is cosy with comfy sofas and a fire, plus a fabulous dining room, with a cupboard stocked full of great board games. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children and the house suited us perfectly. I would thoroughly recommend this farmhouse for anyone wanting a cosy but luxurious stay in beautiful Devon.
