Really enjoyed staying here. Peaceful and full of nature. The sound of pheasants and other birds with lovely views and walks.The cottage was clean and tidy and the owner communicated well. Would have liked a few more chairs or a sofa in the lounge area and a starter pack for the wood burner. I did bring some logs but having a night's supply is usually standard in holiday rentals. The room upstairs was a lovely cosy area where my son could have a bit of space. The utility area is perfect if you have dogs. Ours slept here. Would stay again as this area of Devon is beautiful.

Fantastic

Loved our short break in this superb location, the cottage had everything you need and the privacy and quietness of the area was amazing. Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. A good location for visiting all the well known towns & coasts and then retreating to the quietness of the cottage. Thoroughly recommend.

Although a hard find once there fell completely in love with not only the house but the surroundings. Cottage was pefect, everything was thought of down to milk in fridge. Would definitely return, would love to see every season there.

A perfect cottage!

We loved our stay here. It is 10 mins down country lanes and then perfect privacy. The view is stunning and the property is beautiful. The bunk bed room is small but fine for our 10 year old, the master has lots of space and the the double upstairs does have low ceilings but a beautiful view. We did get a supermarket to deliver which set us up with supplies for the trip. The walks straight from the doorstep were much enjoyed, especially the shade of the wood on a sunny day. Within 20 mins in the car you can get to picturesque coves. We had a fantastic trip.

Last minute beak

Booked this place last minute and I can honestly say this is probably one of the nicest stays I have ever had, the pictures on the website really don't do it justice. The house is very secluded and so peaceful but your only 10 mins from reality if you need to pop to the shops. Sebastian was extremely helpful from start to finish and e are already planning our next visit! Definitely recommend to anyone who is wanting a peaceful and stress free break as that's just what we got!

Great Cottage

What a wonderful place to be! The road to the house was quite an adventure, because of the narrow lanes, holes in the roads and overhanging branches. But once you’re there…fantastic view, great walks, no neighbors, a paradise for the dog, beach nearby with great food and always friendly people. The house has everything you need, and contact with the owner is very pleasant!
