The advertisement and photographs depict the main inn. Accomodations that are off site are clean and nice but not worth the money being charged. The photographs of the main inn is a bit of bait and switch for off site accommodations. Breakfast is continental.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night girls trip. Our room was in The Lodge building which was great! Coffee, continental breakfast foods and snacks were available 24 hrs in the lobby. Very clean, very nice staff. The inn and spa is 30 seconds down the street, so not inconvenient at all. The spa was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff accommodating. We enjoyed massages and facials, and loved the pool and jacuzzi. We had dinner one night at Foster's restaurant in the Inn. The food was delicious and the staff was great. I will definitely stay at the Common Man again in the future!!

Be careful when booking - we were in the Lodge which is separate to the Inn - down the street and is basically a motel. The place was kind of run down and could use some serious upgrading and TLC. The bathroom door was decaying and the soap dispenser fell off the wall at first use and the door didn’t lock… The staff are very helpful and kind and attentive though and the area in Plymouth is nice… peaceful yet convenient to town and highway:

Very comfortable stay!

I read mixed reviews going in so I was a little skeptical, but our room was very clean and updated. We had a beautiful leather upholstered king size headboard with a very comfortable mattress and bedding. The wall behind the bed was finished with stained, thick wood planks, and there was a plaque stating the history of where the wood came from and what they were stained with.You can tell that the rooms were redone in the traditional Common Man aesthetic. The room had a well kept, clean plaid carpet and a matching olive green leather chair as well as an upholstered couch that looked clean and was comfortable.The bathroom was very clean as well. I would definitely stay here again!

3rd floor stay

The room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor which only had a window air conditioner. It was extremely loud and didn’t really cool off the room.
