I like the charm of this Motel 6. It has carpet instead of vinyl floors. I also like the lava rock detail and vintage feel of the building. I called ahead to let them know we would check-in late. When we checked in my family was very tired and went to bed right away. I needed to put our food in the fridge. I counld not since the room didn't have a microwave and mini fridge as requested in my reservation. I also noticed the mirror had a smudge on it and there was cardboard packaging from the previous lodger in the garbage. The carpet needed to be vacumed in our room and I noticed in the halls needed it also. It is dark carpet so it must be hard to keep clean things show up easier. I am glad for an affordable place to stay, I just didn't want to throw away my food due to a lack of fridge and microwave.

I request a handycap room and they didn't have one but they didn't toldmeor masage me untill I showed up so I didn'thave other but take a regular room and the side entrance are not handycapready,the carpet floor have a lots of stains and not breakfast so Ithink that the hotel's now days are over price

The hotel is very dated, could use some cosmetic repairs. The linens were clean. They don’t provide any toiletries so bring your own also no blow dryer provided. They do allow dogs so be prepared for some barking

Wouldn’t recommend

This is not actually a motel as you have no outside access other than walking through a long hallway of other rooms. The sliding glass door inside the room was bolted shut. The toilet wouldn’t flush so we had to call for maintenance twice. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Killed several bugs in the bathroom tub and the floor.

Great place to stay

Best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in over a 30+ years of travelling the USA. Clean and the room smelt wonderful when I entered, I even carry a Glade smelly device for rooms that may be a little on the nose, but NOT here. Didn't need it.
