This hotel tried to have me pay double rate

Extra charges for no reason by this hotel. I booked my stay with hotels.com, checked in and paid for my stay. Upon checkout the front desk said I owed additional amount which was over double that I already paid hotels.com! I almost missed my flight going back and forth with the front desk. It was a complete nightmare. This hotel obviously is running a scam on foreign tourists by trying to change the hotel price after check in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Pelo valor da diária e por se tratar de um hotel de uma rede na qual já me hospedei anteriormente, minha experiência no Nacional Inn de Poços de Caldas foi bastante decepcionante. Logo na chegada, percebi que o quarto estava empoeirado; somente no dia seguinte, após a limpeza, ficou mais adequado. Apesar de ter reservado um quarto executivo, encontrei um espaço antigo e mal conservado. Havia trechos de rodapé faltando, a televisão demorava muito para ligar, aparentando defeito, e o vaso sanitário estava bastante manchado. A cama de casal era pequena e o travesseiro desconfortável. O café da manhã, embora anunciado das 6h às 10h, é dividido em quatro horários dentro desse período, o que limita a flexibilidade. Além disso, a variedade de alimentos é bastante básica: as frutas disponíveis para consumo eram apenas mamão e melão, enquanto outras opções estavam verdes ou sequer preparadas, como um abacaxi inteiro, com casca. Outro ponto negativo foi a falta de água para compra na recepção em um dos dias, e o frigobar do quarto, que permanece vazio. Como pontos positivos, destaco a área comum do hotel, com piscina, recepção, restaurante e bar, que é ampla e agradável, além da equipe de funcionários, que se mostrou muito educada e receptiva. No geral, a experiência não atendeu às expectativas. Não pretendo retornar e, infelizmente, não recomendaria o hotel a outras pessoas.

O hotel é muito bem localizado e possui uma boa estrutura, no entanto precisa de reforma e renovação em diversos aspectos. Com relação ao quarto, havia lâmpada queimada que não foi substituída e não foram disponibilizadas toalhas de rosto mesmo após solicitação. O café da manhã é bom, mas a distribuição de horários não é respeitada pelos hóspedes e não controlada pelo hotel, tornando o ambiente muito barulhento e congestionado.
