Dirty, horrible odors (one of the beds smelled so bad that it was unusable), bugs, run down, half of the lights didn't work, missing smoke detector, old food left in the refrigerator, a car in the back on jack stands, junk all over the back yard. I could go on...

What a fun place

I was scared of staying at the Jersey Shore boardwalk, but actually it was very quiet inside the hotel. The managers did everything in his power to accommodate our requests and we felt very welcomed and safe

Great location, like visiting family

You can't do much better for location for the price. The property owner is very communicative and easy to get along with, and he just wants you to have a good stay. The place is very much a classic Jersey beach house - could use a deep clean and a little attention to some mildew in the bathroom. Eclectic collection of decor makes for a great game of I Spy on a rainy day. It is cozy, but does make you feel a little like you're intruding on someone's actively lived-in home. Overall we had a good stay and were comfortable for our beach weekend getaway.

Great Location

Location was great. Short walk to beach and boardwalk. House had everything needed. Nothing fancy. The house itself is an older not updated beach house (not meant as a negative statement).
