The staff were wonderful and beautiful hotel. The pool was murky and a bit smaller than expected. The living room area, food and staff was lovely. Wish we didn’t have to notify to clean the room though. The area was a bit noisy at night and shower was a bit dirty. I appreciated the amenities for the beach, only thing missing were beach umbrellas.

We just returned from out 4 night stay at Hotel LBI. My husband, me and my 2 teenage children. The room was great. Very large, super clean and had everything you would need. The areas that need improvement at this hotel is that the room we booked: Queen, Queen studio suite can sleep up to 6 people. Why do you only get 2 beach badges included? That is crazy for the price paid. When you rent a beach house on LBI it always comes with beach badges included for the amount of people the house sleeps. Another issue was the beach shuttle which is a great idea, But not if there is only one shuttle that seats 6 people at at time, running and the hotel is full of guests who need this service! The other area that needs major improvement is the pool. While it is nice, it is way too small for the size of the hotel. We found it to be over crowded and loud. The hot tub has no jets running so it is basically just a very hot pool! There were soooo many little kids with swim diapers in the pool and hot tub. I have kids too. I do not have a problem with little kids but I think there should be a seperate pool for these kids. Also many toddlers and up not following the rules: jumping in on top of us and pushing me an adult out of their way in the pool. They were not being watched by their parents but since there is no life guard or anyone there to enforce anything this will continue to happen. That is a disappointment since I booked the hotel to use the pool :(.
