Treat yourself to a peaceful getaway in the Haute-Loire region, in the charming hamlet of Tressac, with a stunning view of Polignac Castle perched atop its volcanic rock. Thanks to its many windows, this former farmhouse invites you to admire the panorama from different perspectives. Inside, spacious rooms feature high ceilings in the living area, which is particularly bright thanks to numerous skylights. A covered terrace and a landscaped outdoor area allow you to fully enjoy meals and moments of relaxation. On-site, you can explore marked walking and hiking trails, discover the village and fortress of Polignac, and admire the views of the volcanic landscapes of the Velay region. Nearby, explore the city of Le Puy-en-Velay, the starting point of the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). Its old town captivates visitors with its many UNESCO World Heritage sites, its lively Saturday morning market, and its famous Renaissance Festival of the King of the Birds, held annually on the third weekend of September. A little further on, the cottage is an excellent base for exploring the entire Haute-Loire region: the remarkable landscapes of the Mézenc plateau, the stunning Corboeuf Ravines, the many lakes in the area, and the unspoiled villages of the Allier Valley. Nestled in the heart of a charming hamlet, you'll access the cottage through a gate leading to a large, private covered terrace. A garage and a private outdoor parking space are also available. Inside, you'll find a master suite with a double bed (140cm) overlooking the courtyard, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet. Upstairs, the living area comprises a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, espresso machine, oven, gas hob, etc.), a lounge with a fireplace and television, and a round table perfect for sharing delicious meals. On the same level, a second master suite with a double bed (140 cm) offers breathtaking views of the fortress and a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. A separate toilet completes this level. On the second floor, a mezzanine sleeping area provides a prime vantage point for admiring the surrounding landscapes. Baby equipment is available upon request (travel cot, high chair, etc.).
