Very clean, quiet, small apartment for a couple. You will need a car. Although we never met the managers, we left behind a small purse containing a substantial amount of Canadian money, which we didn't even miss until we landed back in Canada. It showed up in our mailbox, fully intact, a couple of weeks later. You can't ask for better service than that !

Never Received A Notification For Payment Even After Reaching Out To Them

As you can see from the title our booking was never completed and confirmed due to lack of communication. I reached out to the host/management company in March to ask how to complete our payment for our May stay. The host/management responded with a vague answer so I thought they would contact me later regarding my question. Unfortunately the day before we were to fly to the Azores I received an email saying that they had cancelled my reservation. That left me with much anxiety since I tried several times to contact the host with no response. I then made numerous calls to VRBO for help but was unable to get our booking back. This left me with paying a lot more for another place to stay on the island as well as losing approximately 3 hours of my time trying to contact the host. Beware
