Populo Beach Villa is centrally located on the Islands preferred South Coast. A short 7-minute walk to one of the nicest beaches. Voted by TripAdvisor as best beach on the island. Downtown Ponta Delgada is a 10-minute drive away.

We have just installed air conditioning and heating throughout the home. The office has been completely remodeled with wainscoting, new flooring, and fresh new paint. The bedroom remodels are almost completed

The dedicated work office on the main floor has just been remodeled. There is one gig of upload speed. The ability to connect your laptop to the internet is available through our Ethernet or Wifi. There is also a printer for your convenience.

The upstairs living area (or den) has a sofa bed, TV, and two very large comfortable bean bags for sitting and watching television or playing games. Both bathrooms have showers and the upstairs has a full-size bathtub.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or just heat up leftovers. There are wine glasses, sangria glasses, and more for your enjoyment. The kitchen has utensils as well.

The laundry is off the kitchen area. It has a large washing machine and dryer along with an ironing board and iron. You will also find beach towels in the cabinet in the laundry room.

The outside kitchen is also available should you wish to BBQ. The outside area has two comfortable chairs for those who enjoy being in the sun reading a good book. There is also a television in this area to watch sports and more.

We have added an outside camera by the front door for your protection. There are no cameras inside the house.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Milicias Ocean Beach. Enjoy features like laundry facilities. The vacation home offers free WiFi and a kitchen.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Exit Instructions: All dishes and kitchen utensils are washed and put away. All dirty bed linen, towels, and anything else used bring down to the laundry room.
If you break something let us know so we may purchase a replacement. DO NOT REMOVE ANY ITEMS FROM THE HOME. When you leave, place both keys in the lock box and secure all windows and shutters.
Please also assure to turn off all lights, indoor and outdoor. Check out is at 11:00 AM. Leave both keys in the lockbox.

Amazing home! This was an excellent place for me and my family to stay for 2 weeks. Spacious, clean and a great location.Only downside is that there is no AC, and we were given a fold out couch for one bed, so I wouldn’t recommend any more than 6 people (3 couples).Otherwise, amazing place, and would totally come here again! Thank you Sylvia!

The house is spacious and is as shown. The kitchen had everything we needed (coffee machine uses pods). The grocery store had everything we need and is within an easy walking distance. The beach was a good addition and also within easy walking distance. We ate a few times at the restaurant there. The house is a great location from which to see the island and is 10 minutes from airport and Ponta Delgada. The checkin and checkout were easy.

House was great, plenty of room. Location is fantastic!!! Close to airport (about 15 min), beach is walking distance or two min car ride. So much to do or nothing at all!!! House was great for the four of us-plenty of room

Azores house

Overall extremely disappointed with this property. Upon entering the house there was a very musty like smell that was trying to be covered up with some extremely odiferous air fresheners. Most of the screens in n the windows and sliding doors did not stay in so we were unable to open windows for ventilation. Calling the host resulted in an answer that she would have someone come out and fix the screens but not until our stay was over. There was as one fan in the house that did not work and the host did nothing to help. She told us she only had the one fan. This property was subpar and I would not recommend it to anyone. Being mindful that we had a 6 month old and a 2 year old as well as a 63 year old with asthma the property was a health risk to us

Great location and house

Great location…loved being able to walk to beach (where we took up beach tennis) and restaurant. Location was a great…we took off to a different past of the island everyday and this house was very centrally located. House was very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and an amazingly stocked kitchen. We loved the large table on the porch and I sat in yard every morning. Sao Miguel is an amazing island with so much to see and do…I promise it will not disappoint. Come for a visit and stay at this amazing home…you will love it.

Fabulous location

I had a great experience staying at this property. The communication with the owners was excellent and their flexibility was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed including a grocery store within distance. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable.
