Highly recommended! Very comfortable modern apartment of ample size, nice bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Convenient to train station and grocery stores. Very quiet with all amenities. A nice walk of less than fifteen minutes to the historic center. My wife and I spent four nights here, and would definitely return. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating.

Wonderful Apartment in a Great Area

We all loved staying here. It was very clean, beautifully furnished, and in a very convenient location in Pontevedra. It is spacious and has everything one might need. The apartment was also quiet and very close to stores, cafes, and bakeries. And we loved Maria and Manel. They were so helpful and kind. I would absolutely stay there again. It was really great.

We spent a just about perfect week in this ideal apartment. It's spacious, bright, airy, comprehensively equipped and situated exactly right for exploring Pontevedra on foot and for bus/train transport links. We arrived by train and used buses to go out of town, and both stations are a 2 minute walk away, while the historic centre of Pontevedra is an easy 15 minute walk. There was really nothing we felt was lacking in comfort, space or equipment, and it's perfectly quiet through the night, so we slept well. Mayte and Francisco made the whole experience, from arrival to departure, very easy and we felt that if any issues had arisen they would have been speedily resolved. However, there were no issues! Not least, their recommendations for restaurants, places to visit - do take the comfortable and inexpensive bus ride to Combarro - were most welcome and enjoyable. All in all, we loved our week in Pontevedra and wouldn't change a single detail. Muchisimas gracias!

Absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful stay in Pontevedra. It was made even better by staying at Maria’s place. Her husband Manuel was so kind. The apartment was spotless, spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It was like being at home. They even had beach chairs & an umbrella to borrow. The apartment is in a beautifully maintained modern building, very secure & a 10 minute walk from the old town. We also found street parking every day with little hassle. This is a marvellous place, possibly the nicest we’ve stayed in. Unmissable. Oh and thank you Manuel for the delicious bottle of wine!

Visiting Pontevedra

Great location close to the train and bus station and 10 minute walk to the old town area. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and very clean. We had everything we needed and there are two supermarkets really close by. We loved visiting Pontevedra and the surrounding areas .

This apartment is without a doubt the cleanest and best apartment we have ever stayed in, being large, modern and equipped with everything you need. We stayed here for 10 days while competing in the World Championships here in Pontevedra. We could not have asked for a better location for all our needs. It is easy to walk to the old historic town of Pontevedra and supermarkets within a stone throw away. Emails in advance were answered promptly and the day of arrival, the owner and her son arrived on time to let us in. The owners son was there to translate for us in English and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the area. Lovely spacious apartment

An excellent apartment with everything I needed. The lounge is a special delight, bright and airy and lovely afternoon sunshine. Out of the door and its a straightforward, pleasant walk into the town centre. Also very close to the bus and train stations. Wish I was staying longer.

Well equipped homely apartment with lovely owners

We stayed here for a week in early September. Emails in advance were answered promptly and the day of arrival, the owner and her son arrived on time to let us in. The owners son was there to translate for us in English and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the area. The apartment was the cleanest I've stayed in and had everything you could want, and the bed in the main bedroom had the most comfortable mattress ever (I was tempted to ask where it's from). The lounge has nice big windows on the sunny side so that was nice to sit in of an evening. It's well located down the road from the Train Station which is also right near the bus station and enabled us to take many trips out of the immediate area. Pontevedra itself is also full of shops and supermarkets, cafes and restaurants and the locals are friendly. One of my favourite stays.

Great apartment in central location in historic town of Pontevedra.

A bright modern appartment in the interesting medieval town of Pontevedra. It’s an easy walk into the centre where there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as sights. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and there is lots of information about what to locally. The beaches close by are absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to offered equipment for the beach. We used the garage which was a good option for us. We were there for the medieval festival which was really great and not be missed if you happen to be there when it is on. We recommend this as a place to stay.

Spotless, comfortable and well-located

The apartment suited us beautifully and Mayte and her son Marcos were very welcoming and gave us plenty of advice about where to go. As others mentioned, the apartment is very central and well-appointed. The only problem we had was with parking. Although street parking is mostly unrestricted, it wasn’t always possible to find a spot near the apartment.

A large modern apartment with everything you need for a lovely holiday in Pontevedra.

From the outset, our hosts, Mayte and her family were informative and welcoming, from lots of pre-information through to a welcoming committee at the train station complete with name placard (thanks Manel and Julio)! The apartment is very close to the train and bus terminals, with supermarkets nearby, and only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. As for the apartment, it’s one of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in, being large, modern and equipped with everything convenience needed to fall in love with Pontevedra and its surrounding localities. And if you need something, our hosts lived in the same building and were ready to help in any way they could. Thanks for making our stay as wonderful as it was.

Memorable holiday in Pontavedra

We enjoyed our two weeks in Pontavedra. The apt was perfect n very roomy, had all d essentials for our stay. Particularly d owners were extremely helpful in every way, and their son helped us a lot as he had a good knowledge of English. We came from Ireland, only problem was very few natives speak English n all Spanish tv channels, but locals were extremely helpful. As we travelled a lot, d apt was ideal being close to Bus n Train stations . Would recommend it highly . John & Mairead, Galway, Ireland.

Yes. This apartment was the right choice for us. The internet service was reliable, the public transportation was excellent, and the convenience of a grocery store were all perfect. Also, there is a gym right around the corner and a river park for an evening walk!

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The living room was bright and airy, the beds and bedrooms comfortable. It was obvious that Maria Teresa values her property and makes sure it is in good order. In addition, she was there when we arrived to show us around, explain the parking, and offer great suggestions for restaurants, places to visit, and even best roads to take to get to our destinations. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk from the old city of Pontevedra. This is a place we would return to .

Great Stay

What a wonderful spot. The apartment is fantastic, with everything you could want during your stay. So great that you feel that you are a guest in someone's home. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the old town and a quick and easy exit and entrance to the highway. Maria was extremely helpful. She met us on arrival, and showed us all around the apartment. She also gave us ideas and information about the area, and offered to help with tickets if needed. There are many booklets in the apartment with information about the area. We loved our time there, and hope to return before long.
