With room for families and groups of up to 12 guests it offers a relaxing setting for summer getaways, winter adventures and everything in between. Spend your mornings enjoying the surrounding wilderness, head out for a day of hiking and exploring, or gather outside around the fire pit at the end of the day.

Conveniently positioned for exploring central Vancouver Island and the west coast, the property provides a great home base for adventures toward both Tofino and Mount Washington.

The Space:

The Scenic Country Home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. It includes 3 Bedrooms, 1 Media Room with sofa bed, a queen sofa bed in the Living Room, and two twin sized roll-out cots.

It boasts a fully equipped kitchen which makes preparing meals for the group easy. It includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, cooking utensils and other everyday essentials.

The home also features a large sun deck for enjoying the peaceful country surroundings, along with a media room featuring a 65 inch Smart TV.

Unfortunately with no internet service, I couldn’t access my email so I had to knock on neighbours door to get hosts number but it all worked out well. For new guests, make sure you get code before heading to country home.

A good place to stay

Overall good experience, but could not get the A/C to ryn properly and the light switch for above dining table was taped in the on postion but had to be continuously pushed for the light to work.

Overall solid

Nothing seriously wrong with the place, but it should really be stressed that this is one of multiple units on the same property. The other notable complaint is the lack of screens on the sliding doors, which makes them impossible to keep open due to insects, especially after dark. This is particularly troublesome in the "media room", because it has no AC and gets stuffy with multiple people present.

Clean house, inaccurate listing.

Overall the house was clean, and the communication with the property manager was quick. The listing isn't entirely accurate - the property, while large, is not private at all. There are additional units attached to the main house so it isn't accurate to describe it as the 'entire house'. There are also other properties sharing the backyard space. Also, while it was great to have a dog-friendly property to stay at, there was a hidden 75$ fee to have the dog there that is not advertised in the listing which seems unfair.
