Refresh your soul at this inspiring and tranquil getaway. Located in a small gated community along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the sights & sounds of the surf & wildlife will leave you in awe from the moment you arrive. Canada is just 12 miles across the Strait so the ships coming and going from the Pacific to the ports of Seattle & Vancouver pass by adding to the ever changing scene. Dramatic tide changes, world class sunsets, abundant wildlife, surfing, crabbing, fishing, beach combing...
The space
Stairs up to the main floor where you'll find a large deck just 75 feet from the surf, a comfortable living room facing the water with towering ceilings, stylish and workable kitchen, including upscale provisions and Marketspice Tea offerings, laundry, powder bath, and bedroom suite. The upstairs loft has a small sitting area with chaise lounge, large sleeping area and beautiful bathroom with a tub designed to take in the view of the Strait. Outdoor spaces include a private yard on the west side of the home and of course your own private beach.

We live in a gated community among neighbors who understandably cherish the serenity and privacy. Drones are not allowed.
The beach to the east of the cedar fence is privately owned and NOT part of this beach community. Guests are welcome to walk to the west.

Strait Surf was a little slice of heaven. It was a great home base for exploring Olympic NP and Port Angeles. After days of hiking and exploring we sat on the deck listening to the surf and looking at the stars. Beds were amazingly comfortable! Molly has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home!

Perfect Washington Retreat!!

This home on the Washington coast was absolute perfection. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, quiet, private, and incredibly well-stocked—especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed for memorable family meals. The luxe bedding, plush towels, cozy beach blankets, and thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true retreat.The location was ideal—close to Crescent Lake and Salt Creek Recreation Area for easy, fun day trips. Our kids loved dipping their feet in the water and collecting rocks on the private beach. We didn’t miss having a TV at all; it actually made the stay more magical as we cooked together and played the many games provided. We stayed at the Four Seasons in Seattle before arriving and honestly, we preferred this home. Highly recommend—it’s one of the best rentals we've ever experienced! The host is excellent, the space is unforgettable, and we’d love to come back!!
