What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit

Meridian Port Douglas was a delight of our holiday. The rooms are well presented. Great AC and ceiling fans, comfortable bed. Fantastic swimming pool and staff very informative, friendly and helpful.

The Young receptionist on arrival was extremely helpful and lovely. The floor was dirty, with Minimal cutlery and crockery. Very close to the main street of Port Douglas and the beach. This was handy especially given the choice of restaurants. The accommodation, however, was tired. The inclusions in the kitchen and bathroom were basic. While cooking was an option, aside from the food, literally everything to do so needed to be bought. If staying less than 7 days, room service (ie clean towels etc) was not offered.

We've just returned from a week at the Meridian, room 5 ground floor. Shade all day near pool entrance but we also had a small courtyard for sun and was very private. The only thing I would've liked would be the property locked at night. Very relaxing place to stay.
