At the Tri-State A-Frame, we like to keep things natural — you’ll notice our lawn isn’t a perfectly trimmed, golf-course green, and that’s by choice. Achieving that kind of look often requires spraying pesticides, weed killers, and other harsh chemicals, which can harm the land and the wildlife that visit us regularly.

Our property is often graced by deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, chipmunks, and countless birds. These visits are part of what makes this place so special, and we want to keep it that way. By avoiding toxic lawn treatments, we help protect these gentle guests and preserve the natural ecosystem around the cabin.

So yes — you may see a few wildflowers, uneven patches of grass, or clovers underfoot. But that’s exactly how nature intended it: beautiful, alive, and perfectly imperfect.
