We’ll stay here again!

We were impressed with this property the minute we walked in to register after pre registering online (which sped things up.) our clerk was super friendly and efficient. For being so close to I-75, it was very quiet. The landscaped pool looked very inviting, but sadly we arrived just as it was closing at 10 PM. Breakfast was a treat. We were pleasantly surprised to find eggs and sausage patties. The automated pancake maker was a hoot; watching them squirt on to the conveyer belt, cook and finally plop onto our plates. What a world!

A comfortable welcoming stay

The staff was impressive, knowledgeable, caring, and went above and beyond. Our TV and refrigerator needed repair and it was done within a half hour. Marilyn and April were the best of help. They were knowledgeable of the area which was amazing. Our daughter is homeschooled and they had a great little library down the street. The waterfall is not working and many things in the property needed repair the washer and dryer the picnic tables and many things in the rooms. I was assuming it was residual from the recent hurricanes they made us feel comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely stay there again solely because of the staff.

Imperfectly adequate

I stayed here as I was booked to perform at a local music festival. I've stayed in a LOT of motels in my career, and this one was blandly adequate. The bed was comfortable enough - though too soft for me, my wife was fine - and the room seemed adequately clean. But. Perhaps it was in a stage of remodeling because there were several holes in all the walls where art/mirrors(?) once were. The walls were very poorly painted (drips, splotches everywhere) and the bathroom caulking & mopboards were very poorly done. Just as I was staring at a poorly joined mopboard in the bathroom and thinking "What a perfect place for roaches to live!", as if on cue, out popped a roach! The walls/ceilings are thin and voices & noises from adjacent rooms and the vehicle noises from the parking lot made for a very unrestful night. That said, the two staff I interacted with were pleasant and professional. This Brooksville Days Inn was the least expensive in the area; I guess you get what you pay for, but we won't return.

Quick stay- not the best choice.

Arrived late. Reception was friendly only seemed like one guy was doing everything. Lobby was deceiving seeing as the rooms were quite warn down and vinyl flooring in washroom was a quick fix and smelled musty and needed proper shower curtain, it never stayed closed. People were quite rough and even eating at the breakfast was not stocked with food and had to ask to bring more out. Coffee was okay. when we returned to our room we noticed a big greasy hand print on our door handle. Not sure if people were trying the door handles knowing people were at the breakfast but kind of sketchy. Maybe people who were staying there like residents. Walls were dirty where people’s bodies had rubbed up on the wall near the bed. Linens had small stains and burn marks even if cleaned, was hard not to notice those things. Would not return to this location.
