Stunning fully renovated apartment with air-conditioning

This very beautiful and very bright 63 m² 2-bedroom apartment has 3 air-conditioning units (bedroom, living space and living room) and exceptional direct views of the sea and the port. It is located on the first floor of a family house and has been renovated in early 2011. It is wonderfully located in the heart of the historical district. Everything has been renovated: triple glazing windows (sound and heat insulation) and very beautiful decoration by the owner that owns a decoration boutique downstairs “Ciel & Bleu”. There are 2 bedrooms (12 m² each) with 160 cm bed including 1 with balcony and French window. The house is South-East-exposed so it is sunny until 4:00 p.m. in summer. Living space with 2 windows, 4-seat sofa-bed, flat screen television, DVD player with 25 movies at your disposal, CD radio and Wi-Fi, fitted kitchen, smoke alarm, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, induction hob, small laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer and shower room with spacious shower, washbasin and heated towel rail and a secured parking area for guests in July and August (included in the rental rate).
As the apartment is well located facing the port, there are many tourist attractions as well as departures for trips: the arrival of fishermen all year long around 4:00 p.m., the strolls on the marina as well as on the promenade towards the fish market passing by the famous street called “Rue du Soleil” because it is bathed in sunlight all day long, visit of Collioure on foot or via the Chemin des Douaniers (25 minutes), the small cliff road towards Cap Béart to continue on foot via the coastal path towards Paulilles and its pebble beaches, the very picturesque rise towards Fort Dugommier and the Vauban Redoubt on the slopes of Tour Madeloc, etc. All of these are possibilities to choose the type of stroll and the difficulty. The originality of our town comes from this strange combination of sea and mountain, this very disturbing harmony between the last foothills of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.

This was a lovely spot overlooking the port. Pierre and Mijung were wonderful hosts, very helpful.

The apartment is full of light and color- four of us were very comfortable. We enjoyed the markets and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen- everything we could possibly need was provided. We also enjoyed strolling to the local restaurants. The apartment is an excellent base for day trips to surrounding coastal towns and we visited picturesque Carcassone.When a camera was left in a taxi, Mijung helped us track down the cab driver and he delivered it to us! Thanks Mijung so much for your assistance! You were the most delightful hosts!
