Everything about this hotel is lovely except the beds. The beds are horribly uncomfortable. Good location, plenty of parking, clean & well-kept. But they’ve been needing new mattresses. & for what i paid to stay there, i fully expected good sleep, which i didn’t get.

Excellent location, very clean and great price

This was a wonderful hotel and completely different than the last clarion hotel. We stayed at in New Haven, Connecticut. The people were friendly the place didn't smell bad. It was nice and clean. Our rooms were clean. Even though there wasn't any breakfast, it did not matter there was coffee and hot water available. Most of the time we can't do breakfast anyway doesn't have options that work for us. I was so pleased I told the GM what a great hotel he had.

Called during the week to inquire about the airport shuttle and they said to call the day I was there and at baggage claim. On the day I arrived I called at 5:28pm and told them I was outside at baggage claim. They said it would be 15-20mins. Waited and finally at 6:13pm ordered Uber since they never arrived. When I arrived to the hotel sure enough the shuttle van was there parked at the hotel. When o checked in I asked what happened and all they could say was “Oh Sorry” it never showed up.

The only drawback of this hotel is its location. It is not easy walking distance to any downtown parts of Portland and there was only one good Thai restaurant nearby. Also the hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant. Maybe this is less of a problem if you have a car.

Unacceptable rude housekeeping

Housekeeping checked me out and stripped my room before I even checked out. Check out is at noon. I went to breakfast at 9 and specifically told the very pushy housekeeper that I was not leaving I was not yet checking out and I am coming back to my room. I came back at 10am to nap before checking out and driving four hours home. They stripped down my bed, room, emptied the fridge and were in there preparing for the next guess before I even checked out. Then when asked why she said oops I didn’t see a bag in there so I thought you left. At 9am? Unacceptable. I will not stay here again and as a travel nurse, I will remove your hotel from our list of acceptable accommodations
