My first stay at this hotel was lovely. Make sure you request a room on the interior of the building if you want to sleep. This historic hotel has thin windows. During this stay, I was street-side, listening to cars passing, trucks unloading at all hours, and lots of riff raff throughout the night.

It has a nice design and its a simple easy hotel. Not many amenities but clean and nice. nice bar. Good central SE location.

Service at this hotel was great. Was welcomed in with a friendly smile every time I walked in. My room was quiet, clean. Bathroom was nice and clean, mini bar was stocked with some good stuff, and I woke up to great tasting coffee every morning in the lobby. For $100 a night, you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer hotel anywhere in this country.

The hotel is modern. I loved the bed. I felt right at home. It has nice decor and design. If you go by car, parking costs $55. The only thing I didn't like is that I wouldn't leave my car parked outside because there are drug addicts everywhere in Portland.

I liked this hotel and proximity to the venue I was visiting. Front desk was great. The valet on arrival was great, however, at check out, she brought the wrong car, and lied about knowing how to drive a stick. I retrieved my own car. I should get a partial refund of the valet fee.

Room was very cool and clean. However, i was meeting a date for dinner and they issued him a key to my room. I came out of the shower to him sitting on the esge of my bed. He was not registered to the room. I met him online. It was a little scary.

The hotel is very unique and darling. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area is not very safe and across from a homeless shelter, so there were a lot of homeless people on the sidewalks and surrounding areas. That caused some nervousness for my young daughter who I was traveling with. Friends who live in Portland told us not to leave the hotel after dark and to not park our car on the street. Hotel could be noisy, but to be expected with such an old historic building. Bathroom was wonderful with rain shower head!!
