The Hyatt House was a very clean, quiet, and pleasant place to stay. They were also quite dog-friendly. We brought along our Bernese Mountain Dog and she enjoyed her visit a great deal! We also very much enjoyed walking along the riverfront which was only a couple of blocks away from the hotel. We will be frequenting the Hyatt House in the future as we now travel to Portland a fair amount.

I've stayed here 2 times in the last week and both times the front desk staff was very rude. Today check in was about 10pm. The lady acted like i was bothering her. Just no personality and seemed very iriitated. I asked her for a rubber band (which i guess she was nice enough to give it to me) as she flung it to me instead on the counter Again, front desk staff needs to be retrained. Horrible costumer service.

Great spot right near the river. Staff was friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a clean and friendly central spot close to downtown this is it. Only recommendation is to spring for the valet ($52 per night) if you have a car for peace of mind.
