Very convenient location for a place to lay your head after a concert at the MODA center. Staff was helpful. Room was weird— a mix of fixtures and furniture that were easily 50 years old and new stuff. The bed itself and the bathroom seemed clean (thank goodness). The carpet had cigarette burns and worn spots. There were two different mystery substances on the curtains and a greasy hand print on the wall art. Wouldn’t stay there again, but it ended up working out fine since we didn’t spend much time there.

Okay for the price. Drug deals going on in the parking garage that is “monitored” and paid for . Should be free to park there. Room was fine but beds are very uncomfortable

From the moment I walked in the hotel I instantly regretted my choice of hotels. The pictures look decent, but there was a smell the moment you walked into the lobby. It was a perfume/air freshener, but it was clearly covering up a stinky smell. The elevators had quirks to keep the doors closed and my first room had a terrible urine smell.... it's a carpeted room. I asked for a new room and got one, but it was also dirty. No carpet, but grit on the floor and debri in the bathroom. I stayed one of my 3 nights and will never go back.

You get what you pay for! It's cheap and near the convention/Moda center. It's also across the street from public transit. Building is old. Rooms spacious. The l location is ok, not the worst neighborhood in Portland, but can make you feel uneasy if you're walking alone at night. AC/heater work, everything seems to work. The only thing that freaked me out was that there was a red stain on the carpet, made me feel like I stayed at a crime scene

Great Service at an aged Inn.

Pros: I received the best customer service from the front desk staff. Friendly, engaging, to the point and explained everything perfectly. Great location near many things for Portland. Cons: I am getting very tired of non-smoking hotels smelling like cigarettes and cannabis on the inside. Please rip out the carpets and put in air purifiers if you aren't going to enforce this. The carpet is old and does need to be replaced anyway. There was somebody else's long black hair in our shower when we arrived. And while the location is great, it is literally 15' away from the Trimet train line.

Place did not look like pics. Very run down. Smelled bad. Furniture in bad shape. Got a balcony room and the balcony is only about a foot wide not that you could use it since the slider is screwed shut. Bed was stiff, uncomfortable and noisy. Could have gotten a much better room elsewhere for the same price. The staff upon arrival was pleasant and friendly.

Staff was friendly but building was rough. Buckets were placed in multiple spots to catch dripping water from ceiling. Buses ran nearby but it sounded like all the windows were open in the room, no sound deafening at all, parking was very limited and $17 per night. The door to the room was not a great fit, you could see light from the hallway on all sides. Wasn’t the best place to stay. But for the price.. I guess you get what you pay for.
